A collection of wearable art, inspired by traditional forms of tunics, created with natural dyes

*NAROT - [nɑˈɾɔt] - from Armenian meaning colour, paint, dye, tincture, hue

In collaboration with Emma Harutyunyan

Natural dyeing offers limitless possibilities. Each experiment brings with it hundreds of new ideas, and we love working on bringing them to life. Whenever we encounter a plant, tree, or flower, we wonder about the hidden pigment within. One could say that the Narot project is also a laboratory of colours.

Work on each garment begins with the selection of dyes. We try to choose the most suitable fabric and garment style for each colour. Sometimes, we dye a single piece of fabric multiple times to achieve the perfect shade that both surprises and delights us. We hope our infatuation with nature and colour will be contagious!
